Classes

NO aerial experience is required! This 55 minute class is meant for complete beginners! We will work on basic skills and conditioning on either silks, sling and/or lyra. This is the perfect introduction to aerials before signing up for one of our beginner classes. Learn the basics while working low to the ground. Come try out our equipment and see what all the hype is about!


Aerial Fit Express $8 per classFrom $7 per visit with Aerial Fit Express - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

ALL skill levels welcome and NO aerial experience is required! This is a 30 minute circuit based class that focuses on strengthening the body for aerial arts. We'll use multiple aerial apparatuses and floor based exercises in this fast paced full body work out. Come workout on our aerial equipment and get a taste of what is required to be an aerialist!


Flexibility $15 per classFrom $12 per visit with Flexibility - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

ALL skill levels welcome and NO experience is required! “Get Bent” Through the use of active, dynamic, static, and PNF flexibility training methods, students will be able to take their flexibility goals to the next level! Weather you are looking to gain better functional movement over all, push your aerial flexibility to the next level, or everything in between this class is for you! Each 55 minute class will focus on one to two muscle groups after an active warm-up.


Silks: Beginner $25 per classFrom $22 per visit with Specialty Classes - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

Students will learn beginner skills required for aerial silks, as well as gain strength and flexibility through conditioning.
Prerequisites:
We require that students participate in at least one month of Intro to Aerials (4 classes) before signing up for our beginner silks class. Students must be able to perform a footlock and tie a knot in the fabric before registering for this class.


Silks: Intermediate $25 per classFrom $22 per visit with Specialty Classes - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

Students will focus on different skills, conditioning and sequences each week (such as hip key creations, unique crossback straddle entries/exits, star drops, circus climbs, diaper wrap drops and sequences, etc.). Come prepared to iron out old skills as well as learn new ones!
Prerequisites:

Lyra: Beginner $25 per classFrom $22 per visit with Specialty Classes - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

Students will learn beginner skills required for lyra (also known as aerial hoop), as well as gain strength and flexibility through conditioning.
Prerequisites:
We require that students participate in at least one month of Intro to Aerials (4 classes) before signing up for our beginner silks class. Students must be able to mount the hoop at chest height before registering for this class.


Lyra: Intermediate $25 per classFrom $22 per visit with Specialty Classes - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

Students will learn a multitude of aerial hoop/lyra skills (such as back balances, scarab, hip hang, introduction to skills on the top bar, adding spin to combinations, etc.). This class will focus on building transitions, conditioning, and introducing dynamic movements of rolls, beats and simple drops once skills are covered.
Prerequisites:

Sling: Beginner $25 per classFrom $22 per visit with Specialty Classes - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

Students will learn beginner skills required for aerial sling, as well as gain strength and flexibility through conditioning.
Prerequisites:
We require that students participate in at least one month of Intro to Aerials (4 classes) before signing up for our beginner sling class. Students must be able to pull over to hips with sling at chest height before registering for this class.


Sling: Intermediate $25 per classFrom $22 per visit with Specialty Classes - 6 pack passPurchase required to enroll

Students will learn skills, conditioning and sequences on the aerial sling (such as unique entries into and out of crossback straddle, stacking double drops, adding spins and beats to combinations, etc.). Often times adding to the sequence each week, this class is a perfect way to learn how to string all of the combinations together! Now that the fundamentals are in place, this class is built to encourage creativity of movement on and off the apparatus!
Prerequisites:

Winter Workshop Series: Lyra Drop that Beat and Get Dizzy! $40Purchase required to enroll

This 90 min workshop will work on upping your beat and spin game on the Lyra!

Prerequisites: Confident in a long hang off the top bar, very secure double knee hang, and can use a small beat to get back to seat in the Lyra.

Winter Workshop Series: Floor Flow the Never Ending Loop $35Purchase required to enroll

This 90 min workshop builds on infinite movement patterns that either alternate from side to side or move in a continuous loop in one direction. This workshop is welcome to all levels!

Winter Workshop Series: Floor Flow Outside the Box $35Purchase required to enroll

This 90 min workshop is about diving deeper, letting go, and exploring your movement outside a specific patter.

This workshop is all about how we move across the ground. Exploring influences from contemporary, modern, exotic, primal, martial arts, and breakdance movements!

Winter Workshop Series: Crossback Sling Play! $40Purchase required to enroll

Come explore unique entries and exits in this 90 minute Crossback Sling Play workshop!

Prerequisites: Students must be able to perform a standard cross back straddle in the sling multiple times in a row. Must be able to perform inverts from standing in the sling.

Winter Workshop Series: Low Sling Flow $40Purchase required to enroll

We’ll work in the bottom of the loop in this 90 minute sling flow workshop incorporating spins, flares and even a couple drops. Explore how to make the most out of a short sling!

Prerequisites: Must be able to perform a full pull-up and invert into the sling from the ground with ease multiple times.

Winter Workshop Series: Silks Footlock Tree $40Purchase required to enroll

This 90 minute workshop will take us through the limbs of possibilities that can grow with your own skill level. We will be working towards straddling moves so your aerial world can expand even more! It’s a fun way to explore how to grow more basic moves up and up into so many unique choreography choices. This workshop is a 3 class progression where we will go further and climb higher into the branches of the tree with each workshop! This 90 minute workshop is being held 3 times this winter, come to one or come to all!!

Prerequisites: Students must be comfortable with basic, single and double footlocks. Students must also be able to climb at least two climbs up the fabric.

Waverly's Favorite Silks Combos & Drops $60Purchase required to enroll

Learn proper execution of some of Waverly's favorite skills, poses, drops & dives.
Prerequisite:
Must be able to aerial invert with ease, must be familiar with intermediate-advanced aerial silks poses and drops, must be able to execute 2-3 clean pull ups. Must be familiar and comfortable with crossback straddle.

Drops, Dives & Rolls on Hoop with Waverly $60Purchase required to enroll

Students will learn a variety of popular drops on lyra while breaking down the fundamentals of each one.
Prerequisites:

Comfortable inverting multiple times in the air with good form, 1-2 meathooks on both sides, the ability to do 2-3 clean pull ups or chin ups, & knowledge of aerial hoop skills at level considered intermediate to advanced.

This 90 minute workshop is ideal for the intermediate/advanced lyra lover looking for some inspiring new ways to move about the bottom, belly, and top of hoop.
Prerequisite:
Comfortable inverting multiple times in the air with good form, the ability to do 2-3 clean pull ups or chin ups, & knowledge of aerial hoop skills at a level considered intermediate.

When learning Aerial, the technique of the skill is primary. As we become proficient with skills and sequences we’re able to begin moving beyond basic technique and start finding an our own unique, organic quality of movement. We will explore the use of many ideas in order to create work that surpasses skill and becomes art.

Vertical Dance w/ Jenn Bruyer on silks $60Purchase required to enroll

In this workshop we will explore transitions, skills and ideas as they relate to and transition to and from the floor. You can expect supported floor work, spins, mounts, descents, loops, knots, locks, poses and more!
Prerequisites:
Intermediate or Int + on fabric and/or rope. Open to most aerialists with fabric and/or rope experience. Ability to invert from the floor, ability to double crochet, ability to hold your own weight in the air.

Vertical Partnering w/ Jenn Bruyer on silks $60Purchase required to enroll

The vertical apparatus allows for a unique and compelling way to interact with a partner using tension and height. Beyond simply introducing some cool skills and transitions, this workshop will explore the various methodologies to alter the state of the vertical apparatus in a pair or group setting.
Prerequisites:
Intermediate + on rope or fabric, basic partnering experience on any apparatus is encouraged but not required.

Handstands for Everybody w/ Aaron Koz $65Purchase required to enroll

Students will learn a series of mobility and active flexibility exercises for their shoulders and thoracic spine as well as hips, followed by a series of wrist, shoulders, and core/pelvic floor strengthening drills, and finish with progressive spotted and unspotted handstand drills to build comfort on and off the wall.
Prerequisities: Comfort weight-bearing on wrists/shoulders, 15 second straight arm plank.

Straps are Fun! w/ Aaron Koz $65Purchase required to enroll

Learn fundamental techniques for safe and effective training of aerial straps that will improve your power and control across all apparatuses! No straps experience required.
Prerequisites: Two arm inversions of any kind (straddle-up, tuck-up, pike-up) 1-arm hangs with engaged shoulder for 10-20 seconds (or 2-arm for 30), and 20-30 second wall handstand or 45-second plank.

Want to improve your waist roll ups/downs OR your back balance OR your static switches on straps? Students will move through a series of mobility exercises, proprioceptive and active flexibility drills that isolate and strengthen potential weak points in your waist roll technique depending on where their weaknesses lie.
Prerequisites: Inverting in the air in helpful and some experience on sling, straps, rope or fabric required.

Master your Meathooks w/ Aaron Koz $65Purchase required to enroll

This workshop will cover PT exercises and prehab, drills, progressions, and conditioning to unlock both meathooks and reverse meathooks on 2 and then 1-arm. Aerialists of any apparatus will benefit from finding their ideal alignment, while understanding the nuances of how that alignment may change during movement.

Prerequisites: Ability to hold inverted pencil/neutral/arrow and straddle. Ability to do pull-up(s) and inversions from the air encouraged.
